A Beautiful Approach To Exhorting To Islam

Abu Hurairah relates that one day he passed by the market place of Al-Medinah,and stood there, then said to the owners of the shops, ' Oh people of the market place, what has rendered you incapable? '

They replied, ' What are you referring to, Oh Abu Hurairah? 'He said, ' There is the inheritance of the Prophet (peace be upon him) being distributed and you are here?will you not go there and take your share of the inheritance? ' They said, ' Where is it? 'He replied, 'In the Mosque.'

So they raced out, altogether from the market place to receive their share and Abu Hurairah remained there waiting for their return. They came back looking disappointed. Abu Hurairah asked them what they found at the mosque.
They replied, ' O Abu Hurairah, when we went to the mosque, we did not find any inheritance or estate that was being distributed. ' Abu Hurairah Asked them what they saw at the mosque.

They recounted that they saw a group engaged in prayer and another busy in the recitation of the Quranand yet another studying what is lawful and what is un-lawful.

Then Abu Hurairah said;" Woe Unto You, For That Is The Inheritance Of Prophet Muhammad. "

Jazakallaho Khairan,
Barakallaho Feekum

I read the hadith shareef and as it was Juma today, I and my colleagues got the chance to attend Juma Prayer at Binori Town Jamia Islamia.

It was tremendous gathering and what a speech it was. Maulana Saheb (I forgotten his name)strikingly delivered the friday speech. His made the role of Taghoot and specially of media very clear . They all are intentionally trying to afflict harm upon meerath-e-nabuwwat, ulama-e-deen, and islamic institutions. There is no justification for any one who claims that evils in society are rooted in masajid, madarsahs and Islamic life style of individuals.

He referred to and reitterated the Quranic verse

049-002
O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not.

Ulama-e-Karam deserve great respect in light of the above Aayah and generally speaking a common man is ignorant of their (ulama's) status .

He gave example of Hazrat Abdullah Abn-e-Abbas and discussed despite of his status he used to pay personal visits to houses of other Sahaba-e-karam and used to stay outside, refrained himself from knocking the door, used to wait outside no matter be it heat-ful day, be it sand storms, he used to wait outside until the Sahabi comes outside...

Islam teaches us the values & respects, lacking of which has resulted in disrespect of our ownselves in the eyes of others.

He warnned the wrong-doers that Islam will remain safe & sound, no matter what the worst they do. Islam will remain unharmed. 1400 years have passed no change could be planted onto the Holy Quran - is it not enough for them to open their eyes?

It's Friday again Alhamdolillah,
I drove to Binori Town Masjid (Karachi)

The Khateeb spoke on the topic of :

Al-Hujurat
049-006
O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.

and the famous hadith in which the Prophet saw warned us that to be a liar it's enough if someone keeps spreading all what he/she listens.

He nicely challanged the attitude of jounalists and the existing practices of media (TV, newspapers etc). He condemned the conspiracies against Islam, Islamic Institutions, Masajid and Ulama-e-Karam.

He assured that ulama-e-karam in madarsahs do not teach immorality.
They impart Islamic values, knowledge & wisdom in the students.
To prove his stance he invited the journalists & people from press to pay visits and see what training is being imparted to the students He said please visit all the nooks & cornors of Masajid & madarsahs and tell us where must we be hiding the kind of weapons which they believe (and project in the media) are stored.

Islamic teachings are for peace for the entire humanity.

And Islam is going to prevail...

Their intention is to extinguish God's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But God will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).

Now a days I am leading a SAP project in my company Pepsi, it's a six month project target date is 30th June 2010...Please pray for Aafiah .

Last week was the Project Kick-off Ceremony held in a luxurious hotel.
Being Project Manager I was supposed to attend it. It was a full day session. Started without any thoughts of wisdom, and without even Bismillah word. The trainer was focusing on team building related training exercises. Certain movies were also shown. The hight of crazyhood was that a cartoon film was played in which biblic version of story of Nooh Alaissalam was shown to the audiance. I had no way except to keep reciting Istaghfar. During Lunch time we prayed Salatu-Dzhuhr, Any way plenty of Imaan-endangering took place and we reached home safe , Thanks to Allah Subhanahu wa Taalah, Who the Most Raheem, Most Haleem & the Most Kareem to his servants.

In my first Project meeting I was glad that someone from team members requested me to start the proceedings with the word of wisdom. I thanked Allah swt and started with reciting of Surah - Asr.

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),
Verily Man is in loss,
Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

Please pray for me for Maghfirah, Aafiya
